Rapture & Ruin
Los Reyos del Sol
When a Repentant to Jehovah expedition discovered the vast ruins of X-Co City being torn further apart by feuding tribes, they immediately set to work to repair the situation. Subtle applications of combat, politics, and economics quickly saw the tribes unite beneath The Repentant banner, but what had been a religious crusade turned profitable when other outlaying tribes came to trade with the now stable X-Co City. Having been seduced by the jingle of heads, The Repentant expedition severed their ties with their parent organization and founded themselves as Los Reyos del Sol, the leaders of X-Co City.
Los Reyos del Sol have turned their city into a thriving hub for trade and culture by funding roads and ships to bring the people to and from their capitol. Though their efforts also facilitated a massive influx of settlers looking for a more civilized life, and so the colossal city became overly populated, with residential zones choking commercial sectors and private homes squeezing upon public housing establishments. Los Reyos have handled each problem in economized form by passing a series of laws that forces the citizens to accommodate for the visiting merchants. The most controversial of these laws is the Tandem Hospitality Law which forces residents to provide lodging within their own homes for any merchant who cannot find or afford temporary accommodations. The people have reacted unfavorably to the law, and have begun to flock to the recently arrived Repentant to Jehovah. Currently Los Reyos del Sol prepares for an inevitable conflict with their progenitors, and for the possible imposition of The Abolition of The Ten.
